Inorganic Sand Recovery

Plants dedicated to manufacturing aluminum parts for vehicles such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, etc., mostly use manufacturing processes based on molds and cores made of chemically bonded foundry sand. Therefore, the production of each part generates a certain amount of residual sand, and currently, there are few techniques and recovery processes to reduce the amount of residual sand and its environmental impact.

At Green Dune, we offer a sand recovery service that removes impurities from the sand and eliminates resin adhered to the grain, allowing the sand to be reused in foundry processes.

Size Reduction

Often, material must be ground from large blocks to very fine powder. To achieve size reduction, crushing is carried out until the appropriate grain size is obtained according to the client's specifications.

To ensure the reliability of our service, laboratory tests are carried out on the following parameters:

• Conductivity test
• Moisture test
• Grain size (AFS number, fines percentage)

Collection and Delivery Service

We offer a collection, transport, and delivery service for recovered sand. We have the necessary authorizations for the transportation of this type of material.
